Reverse appliqué , with Applique pattern – Hand & Machine directions
Pattern includes hand and machine directions
(40" x 40")
Daisy Medallion is sure to be a favorite with its graceful scrolls wrapping around to frame sweet, innocent daisies. It’s a pattern aimed towards the advanced beginner/ intermediate level stitcher, whether you desire to make it by hand or machine. Scroll work in the 26” x 26” center medallion is reverse applique. The daisy is applique, with the option to applique all the little daisies.
Then you applique and reverse applique border pieces before sewing them together to attach them onto the 26” x 26” center medallion. It is perfect as a wall-hanging, or use it as the center of a quilt of your own design. We designed it in Purples and whites from the Roundabout collection by Banyan Batiks by hand, and in assorted colorful batiks that reminded us of spring by machine.
This pattern is available as a digital PDF download as well.
