Reverse appliqué pattern – Hand & Machine directions, applique, Under-Coloring & Paper-Piecing

Hospitality is an intermediate level quilt pattern for hand or machine reverse applique with applique and under-coloring. It comes out at a time in history when the covid-19 virus is still raging and we are still under stay-at-home orders: a time that has made most of us evaluate and re-value our sense of hospitality, how to create community and reassess what’s important. Hospitality is a creative collaboration with Cherrywood Fabrics, who has kits available on their website, and Siesta Silver Jewelry, who created pendants and earrrings from the Crown and Friendship Pineapple blocks. The Crown Pineapple blocks are reverse applique with applique and under-coloring. The Friendship Pineapple blocks are paper-pieced and the Church, House and School border blocks are applique.
